10 Simple checks to ensure a smart on-line shopping experience

1. Know the Business

2. Know the Product
Make sure the product is legal and will work in your country. Check for a valid guarantee.
Our practice tests are 100% legal. We cannot guarantee your GAMSAT score, only YOU
can do that!
3. Check the Contract
Are the terms and conditions OK? Are the delivery details OK? Can you return goods if faulty? Who pays for postage on returns?
Our tests are professionally printed by Snap Printing. In the event of production faults (e.g missing pages) please email us for a free replacement. We will also send replacements if your tests do not arrive within the specified time period. We will pay all postage in these circumstances.
4. Check the Cost
Have you got a good price? Look for hidden extras like currency conversion, taxes, customs duties, delivery fees, packaging and posting.
Please feel free to compare our prices with any other supplier. We have no hidden extras. Our prices include all postage and packaging. International orders are sent by full airmail. Australian orders are sent by surface mail or Express Post if you order 5 or more tests. We don't charge Australian customers GST. Customs duties, if any, are your responsibility. PayPal may charge you a small joining fee, which is then refunded when your credit card details are verified - check the details when you are signing up with PayPal!
5. Check for Privacy
How will your personal details be used? Only provide personal information if satisfied.
We only ask for your postal address and email. We are required by Australian Taxation Law to retain your order details for seven years. We will not provide any of your personal details to any other person or organisation except if required by Australian Law. If you are paying by PayPal, they may require additional information before processing your order. Please note: PayPal does not provide your credit card details to us.
6. Confirm the Order
You should be given the chance to confirm or reject your order before paying.
If you are paying by PayPal, you can cancel your order at any time before the payment is processed.
Whether paying by PayPal or by mail, you can cancel your order at any time by emailing us. If your order has been posted we will refund your purchase price on return of the unopened parcel. We reserve the right to deduct the cost of postage, packaging or bank transaction fees from the amount refunded.
7. Keep Records
Print out your order before sending and make note of any reference numbers. Ask for a tax invoice or receipt. Check credit card statements against orders/tax invoices and report discrepancies immediately.
Please indicate on your order if you require a receipt. If there is any discrepancy with PayPal billing, please contact PayPal and also let us know immediately
8. Pay Securely
Use secure sites - look for a closed padlock (in your browser) or https: address. Don't provide financial information not required for the sale.
PayPal is an extremely secure system for online payments, or you can order by mail. PayPal only provides us with your address and order details. PayPal does not provide us with your credit card details.
9. Resolve Problems
Contact the trader and resolve problems ASAP. Contact the Office of Fair Trading or relevant industry dispute scheme if you need help.

10. Look Out for Scams
If something seems "too good to be true" - it probably is.
